Summary:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current infrastructure and solutions to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various teams to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and execution of migration plans ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall expertise and performance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on migration progress.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful cloud migration.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience in managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for database environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration with on-premises database systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
