Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced GCP Leader to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GCP Landing Zone setup, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure migration, and cloud security, along with hands-on experience in Terraform and database migrations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of GCP Landing Zones aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines on GCP for scalable and automated deployments.
- Drive cloud migration initiatives, including application and infrastructure migration to GCP.
- Ensure robust security and networking architecture, including IAM, VPC design, firewall rules, and compliance.
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Oversee and support database migration activities (moderate proficiency expected).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance for cloud initiatives.
- Optimize cloud performance, cost, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on cloud engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Proven experience in cloud architecture and migration projects.
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
- Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Working knowledge of database migration strategies and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools in GCP.
