Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to work on a contractor basis. In this role, the successful candidate will apply their expertise to maintain and optimize existing infrastructure, ensuring robust system performance and reliability in the technology industry. This position is critical in supporting the development of next-generation AI systems, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration and virtualization technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure to ensure robust system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

• Support network operations, collaborating closely with the customer's team to coordinate deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.

• Implement new systems and enhancements, aligning with modern best practices in infrastructure management, and documenting processes, configurations, and changes to maintain clear and comprehensive records.

• Collaborate with the customer's team to integrate virtualization technologies into existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, including network diagrams, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with VMware and virtualization technologies, with a deep understanding of network administration principles and practices.

• Proven ability to maintain and optimize existing infrastructure, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams to coordinate deployments and troubleshooting activities.

• Strong understanding of modern infrastructure management best practices, with experience implementing new systems and enhancements.
