Cloud Infra Specialist - Docker/Kubernetes
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infra Specialist with expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure services, focusing on Cloud Native Architecture, container orchestration, and VNF management within OpenStack and VMware environments. You'll ensure seamless service operations, meticulously handle fault management, and drive efficient network integration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud infra Services - OTC service catalogue management will be overseen.
- Fault management and configuration of Cloud services (OTC service catalogue) are primary responsibilities.
- Coordination with project teams for HLD/LLD/TOL/Design reviews is essential.
- Network integration activities will involve hand-in-hand coordination with project teams.
- Trouble ticket/CR handling within SLA is required.
- Customer issue handling and ensuring end-customer services are maintained are crucial.
- MOP/WI preparation for activities and new learnings is expected.
- Configuration and integration of Nodes/Systems will be prepared, implemented, and verified.
- Coordination with the care team for finding and analyzing RCAs is necessary.
- Guidance to team members for executing complex & critical configuration changes will be provided.
- Tracking of issues related to tools and timely escalation as per pre-defined matrix is a key responsibility.
- Attendance at governance calls with region and internal teams is required, along with analyzing and implementing customer feedback.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture and experience with Microservices, Containers & Orchestration (Kubernetes, Dockers) is mandatory.
- Live experience in deploying and managing Cloud Infra using OpenStack, along with VNF Management network functions on Kubernetes and OpenStack & vCloudDirector (VMware), is essential.
- Proficiency in creation of new tenants and sub-tenants.
- Experience with VNF/vApp onboarding using VNF images and packages (OVF, HOT, TOSCA formats).
- Ability to perform VNF image onboarding and publishing into desired glance repository.
- Skills in VNF Creation of Server Resource Templates (VNF flavours).
- Experience with creation of cinder block volume storage.
- Proficiency in creation and updating of security groups applicable to VNF.
- Ability to write HEAT templates as per VNF Onboarding Design Input Template.
- Experience in onboarding HEAT templates as packages to VHA Cloud packages repository.
- Skills in VNF Instantiation (VM build) using Heat templates.
- Familiarity with VNF validation and acceptance certification (VCA) artefacts and reports.
- Experience with vApp build using RHEL SOE & Required Flavour.
- Proficiency in VNF backup and snapshot configuration.
- Experience with VNF/vApp lifecycle management services, including adding & removing VMs and adding/removing virtual Network interfaces.
- Ability to coordinate with other MSPs to ensure required inputs are available on time.
- Experience with change management for services delivered by managed service providers.
- Ability to support the acceptance for scope delivered by the managed service provider.
- Familiarity with Cloud infra Services NFVI-CNIS technology.
