Cloud HPC Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Cloud HPC Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilties:

• Software development
  
• Software design and architecture
  
• Work closely with the product team, relay and explain software concepts
  

Requirements

• Python (advanced)
  
• Linux/RedHat/Bash (advanced)
  
• AWS/Azure/GCP (advanced)
  
• OpenMP/MPI/CUDA (intermediate)
  
• Docker/Singularity or similar (intermediate)
  

Other:

• Ability to learn and apply new concepts rapidly
  
• Extreme attention to details
  

Plus:

• Familiarity with SaltStack, Ansible, or similar.
  
• Knowledge of chemistry/materials science.
  
• Work with advanced electronic structure codes (VASP, Quantum ESPRESSO, Gaussian, NWChem, Siesta, or similar) is not required but is a plus.
  
• Experience with machine learning.
