Key Responsibilities 1. Enterprise Architecture Technical Ownership Act as the overall technical owner for Cloud Managed Services and Cloud Security delivery. Define and govern the overall technical architecture, standards, technology roadmap and solution principles for managed cloud environments. Provide architectural oversight across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform GCP. Ensure cloud solutions are designed for scalability, resilience, availability, performance, security and cost optimization. Establish architecture governance across infrastructure, cloud operations, automation, observability, security and service management. Review and approve key technical designs, solution architectures, migration approaches and operational models. Identify technical risks, architectural gaps and opportunities for modernization. 2. Cloud Security Architecture Provide technical leadership for Cloud Security services across AWS, Azure and GCP. Ensure security is embedded across the entire cloud managed services lifecycle. Partner with CISOssecurity leadership to define cloud security roadmaps and transformation initiatives. Ensure cloud environments comply with enterprise security policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 3. Customer Technical Leadership Act as the senior technical interface with customer CTOCIOCISO and technology leadership. Build trusted-advisor relationships with senior customer stakeholders. Understand customer business and technology objectives and translate them into actionable cloud and managed services strategies. Lead technical governance discussions, architecture reviews and strategic technology workshops. Provide technical direction during critical incidents, escalations and major service-impacting events. Present technology roadmaps, service improvement plans, architecture recommendations and transformation proposals to executive stakeholders. 4. Service Delivery SLA Governance Provide technical oversight to ensure Cloud Managed Services and Cloud Security services are delivered within agreed SLA, KPI and contractual commitments. Work closely with Delivery Managers, Service Managers, Cloud Engineering, Security Operations and other technical teams. Review service performance, recurring incidents, problem management, capacity, availability and operational risks. Drive technical root-cause analysis and permanent remediation for critical and recurring issues. Ensure operational processes are supported by appropriate automation, observability and engineering practices. Identify opportunities to improve service reliability, operational efficiency and customer experience. 5. RFS RFP Proposal Solutioning Own the technical solutioning for RFS, RFP, RFQ and customer proposals related to Cloud Managed Services and Cloud Security. Analyze customer requirements and develop differentiated technical solutions. Lead technical presentations and solution discussions with customers. Work with sales, commercial and delivery teams to develop technically viable and commercially competitive propositions. Create reusable solution patterns, reference architectures and proposal assets. 6. New Service Offering Innovation Identify emerging market trends and develop new Cloud Managed Services and o Develop service architecture, capabilities, technology stack, operating model and commercial constructs for new offerings. Build accelerators, frameworks, reference architectures, automation assets and reusable IP. Continuously evaluate new capabilities from hyperscalers and technology partners and assess their applicability to managed services. 7. AI Automation Define the strategy for embedding AI, GenAI, AIOps and intelligent automation into Cloud Managed Services. Drive adoption of AI-powered service management and engineering capabilities. Develop an AI roadmap for transforming traditional managed services into AI-enabled autonomous operations. 8. Technical Governance Engineering Excellence Establish technical governance mechanisms across managed services accounts. Define and maintain cloud architecture standards, engineering standards and technology reference models. Conduct periodic architecture and technical maturity assessments. Ensure standardization and reuse across customer environments wherever appropriate. Mentor senior architects, cloud engineers and technical leads. Build a strong technical community and promote engineering best practices.
