Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Infrastructure, DevOps practices, and Cloud Security. The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and seamless CI/CD operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AWS Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure
• Work with core AWS services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB
• Perform capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation

2. AWS Security & Compliance

• Implement and manage AWS security best practices
• Configure and maintain:
• IAM roles, policies, and access controls
• Security Groups, NACLs
• AWS Shield, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO, SOC2, CIS benchmarks)
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation

3. DevOps & Automation

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline
• Automate deployments and environment provisioning
• Work with containerization and orchestration tools:
• Docker
• Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
• Implement blue-green / canary deployments

4. Monitoring & Incident Management

• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using:
• CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure SLA adherence
• Drive incident response, RCA, and preventive measures

5. Collaboration & Governance

• Work closely with development, security, and architecture teams
• Ensure adherence to cloud governance and operational best practices
• Document architecture, runbooks, and SOPs

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (3–8+ years preferred)
• Expertise in:
• AWS Infra services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS)
• AWS Security (IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty)
• DevOps tools: Jenkins / Git / CI-CD pipelines
• IaC tools: Terraform / CloudFormation
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
• Scripting: Python / Bash
