Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Contract - Remote.

About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise cloud environments, infrastructure operations, security, and reliability for a global client.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure
• Experience with core cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and IAM
• Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CloudWatch / Azure Monitor or equivalent monitoring tools
• Strong understanding of IAM, access management, and cloud security
• Experience with VM operations, patching, backup, and disaster recovery
• Experience handling incidents, service requests, and production troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CyberArk / Privileged Access Management (PAM) is preferred
• Experience with cloud governance, compliance, and vulnerability remediation
• Good scripting/automation knowledge using Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations and support.
• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources and virtual machines.
• Manage incidents, service requests, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Support application onboarding, cloud configuration, and environment setup.
• Implement IAM, security controls, access changes, and compliance requirements.
• Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, backup, restore, and DR activities.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with application, security, networking, and platform teams.

Preferred: CyberArk | Python/PowerShell/Bash | Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions | Kubernetes
