Cloud Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and manage landing zones and cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane).
• Develop and optimize APIs and cloud-native resources to support platform engineering.
• Lead Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) deployments, including controller development and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to cross-plane framework development for advanced platform engineering.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Groovy, and ArgoCD.
• Integrate monitoring, observability, and security using tools such as Dynatrace and Sonar.
• Partner with DevOps and security teams to deliver fully compliant and secured platforms.
• Drive innovation in cloud automation and platform engineering practices.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery.

Years of Experience:

• 1015 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on public cloud experience (AWS/Azure).
• 8+ years of IaC/Terraform/Ansible experience.
• 5+ years of cloud resource/API development.
• 4+ years of Kubernetes AKS/EKS/controller development.
• 2+ years of Crossplane framework experience.
• 8+ years of DevOps tools experience (Jenkins, GitHub, Groovy).

Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps (preferred).

Skill Set Required:

Must have:

• Extensive knowledge of public cloud architecture (AWS/Azure).
• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure/platform/landing zone development.
• IaC expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and Crossplane.
• Cloud resource/API development.
• Kubernetes AKS/EKS and controller development.
• DevOps toolchain experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Groovy, ArgoCD.
• Hands-on programming skills in Python, Golang, and Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and automation.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and FinOps integration practices.
