Role - Cloud Architect / Engineer

Location – Mumbai

Duration – 6+ Months Contract

Role Purpose

The Cloud Architect / Engineer will build, automate and support secure, scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure that enables digital-first insurance platforms. The role will translate approved cloud architecture, security standards and engineering patterns into reliable production implementations.

The individual will work closely with Cloud Architecture, SRE, Security, Governance, application engineering and outsourced operations teams. The role requires strong hands-on engineering capability, an automation-first mindset and disciplined execution in a regulated enterprise environment.

Experience & Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or related roles.

· Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or another major public cloud platform. Experience across more than one cloud is advantageous.

· Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep or equivalent technologies.

· Working knowledge of cloud networking, identity, compute, storage, load balancing, backup, disaster recovery and security controls.

· Experience with Kubernetes, containers and container registries.

· Experience with CI/CD tools, Git workflows and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash or equivalent scripting languages.

· Working knowledge of monitoring, logging and observability tools.

· Understanding of IT service management processes including incident, problem and change management.

· Experience in insurance, banking, financial services or another regulated industry is desirable.

· Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps or Infrastructure as Code certifications are desirable.
