The Opportunity

We're looking for an SDE3 – Cloud Engineer who can build and scale reliable cloud infrastructure, improve developer velocity, and help power Snabbit's next phase of growth.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving large-scale infrastructure problems, automating systems, and building resilient cloud-native platforms in fast-moving environments.

What You'll Do

You'll work closely with backend, platform, and product engineering teams to build infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and developer-friendly.

• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and system performance.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and safer deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage Kubernetes and container orchestration systems for production workloads.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response best practices.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve infrastructure efficiency and developer experience.
• Optimise cloud resources for both performance and cost efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• 4–7 years of experience in Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Good understanding of CI/CD systems and automation practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, security, and distributed systems.
• Experience working in high-growth or fast-paced engineering environments is a plus.
• A problem-solving mindset with strong ownership and execution ability.
