Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing and configuring OpenStack services (e.g., Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder) under senior guidance.
- Support day-to-day operations of private cloud setups on RHEL/CentOS, including basic troubleshooting and monitoring with tools like Ceilometer or Prometheus.
- Perform routine tasks like patching, backups, and resource provisioning; learn automation with Ansible or simple Heat templates.
- Help maintain security basics (e.g., user roles, firewall rules) and document configurations for team knowledge sharing.
- Monitor system health, assist in incident response, and contribute to capacity planning for cloud resources.
- Collaborate with teams on small-scale migrations and integrations, gaining exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes workloads.
