Position Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Location: Bengaluru/ Chennai
JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) with 5 years of IT experience (including 3+ years in Azure) to support the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud environments. The role requires hands-on experience across key Azure servicescompute, storage, networking, security, identity, monitoring, and basic disaster recovery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support design and implementation of Azure services to ensure applications run securely and efficiently.
- Work on Azure components such as Application Gateway, Load Balancers, VPNs, DNS, and routing.
- Assist in configuring logging and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- Support disaster recovery setup using Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
- Assist in cloud cost optimization activities (tagging, basic rightsizing).
- Implement security practices (RBAC, Key Vault, basic governance policies).
- Collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders for smooth cloud operations.
- Troubleshoot issues across Azure infrastructure components.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- BE / B.Tech (Engineering graduates only)
- 5 years of IT experience with 3+ years in Azure cloud
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (compute, storage, networking, basic security)
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM / Bicep)
- Basic understanding of monitoring, logging, and cloud security
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell / Bash / Python)
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Azure certifications (Associate level preferred)
- Exposure to AKS / Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization and governance basics
- Familiarity with serverless or event-driven architectures
