Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Azure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Azure architecture, cloud security, automation, migration, and hybrid infrastructure solutions with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions.
- Lead cloud transformation and migration projects from on-premises to Azure.
- Architect and manage Azure infrastructure services including compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and security.
- Manage and optimize Azure services such as:
- Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure Networking
- Azure Backup & Site Recovery
- Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based repositories.
- Ensure implementation of Azure governance, compliance, security policies, and cost optimization strategies.
- Configure and manage hybrid cloud connectivity including VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex cloud and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with application, security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for solution delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across cloud initiatives.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, operational documentation, and best practice guidelines.
- Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10–15 years of overall IT infrastructure/cloud engineering experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Hands-on experience with:

- Strong understanding of:
- TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers
- Windows & Linux Administration
- Cloud Security & Governance
- Monitoring and Logging tools
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud deployments and migrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
Preferred Experience
- Experience in large enterprise or telecom environments.
- Exposure to multi-cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and agile methodologies.
