Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer to support and manage enterprise-scale Azure environments. The role focuses on cloud operations, automation, security, and cost optimization, ensuring high availability and compliance across the Azure landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure infrastructure, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS & PaaS resources
- Maintain subscriptions, resource groups, and cloud environments
- Ensure high availability and scalability of Azure solutions
Governance & Security
- Implement RBAC, Azure Policies, and governance frameworks
- Manage Azure security tools (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel)
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting
- Act as L1/L2 support for cloud incidents
- Troubleshoot performance and availability issues
Automation & DevOps
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / ARM / Bicep
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Automate deployments and operational tasks
Networking
- Manage VNet, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN connectivity
- Ensure secure and efficient network architecture
Cost Optimization (FinOps)
- Monitor and optimize Azure spend
- Implement tagging, budgeting, and savings strategies
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Configure Azure Backup and Site Recovery
- Ensure DR readiness and data protection
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS)
- Hands-on with Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN, Load Balancer)
- Experience in Terraform / ARM Templates / Bicep
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
- Experience with Azure Security (Defender, Sentinel, RBAC)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
- Understanding of FinOps & cost optimization
- Experience with AKS is an added advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
