Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Implement and manage cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless technologies.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the cloud environment.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployments to the cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand their cloud infrastructure requirements and provide solutions.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for cloud environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
• Document cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support critical cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of cloud governance policies.
• Assist in cost optimization efforts for cloud resources.
