Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering consulting and recommendations for new cloud systems to ensure interoperability and adherence to organizational technology standards.

Define, monitor, and prioritize multiple cloud projects; provide technical and administrative supervision and report operational status.

Document all cloud deployments and ensure cross-training for team members.

Build, develop, and manage technical solutions on public cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS).

Provision, configure, and maintain cloud computing services with automation best practices.

Develop and manage Terraform code, modules, and pipelines for end-to-end IaC projects; ensure compliance with Sentinel/OPA policies.

Automate and orchestrate system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools.

Collaborate with solutions architects, application developers, and security teams to follow cloud best practices.

Install, configure, maintain, and support applications and systems in public cloud environments.

Educate teams on new cloud initiatives, Terraform coding, and associated practices.

Maintain a well-managed production and development operating environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported via monitoring systems and ticketing tools; maintain thorough documentation of actions taken.

Utilize Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting to automate tasks and support cloud solutions.
