Role Overview:
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud services, Generative AI solutions, and Python-based development. The role involves designing, building, and deploying AI-enabled applications on Azure, leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, and Python frameworks, with a focus on scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.
- Experience in building AI-powered applications (e.g., chatbots, recommendation engines, predictive analytics).
- Knowledge of Responsible AI principles and ethical AI design.
- Exposure to Generative AI and LLM integration in enterprise workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Azure-based GenAI solutions using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services
- Build Python-based backend services for AI workflows, APIs, and orchestration layers
- Implement RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) patterns using Azure-native components
- Integrate AI solutions with Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Functions, and Storage
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to translate AI use cases into solutions
- Ensure security, governance, and responsible AI practices in all implementations
Platform & Engineering Responsibilities
- Develop REST APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI / Flask)
- Work with Azure AI Search / Cognitive Search for vector search and semantic retrieval
- Deploy and manage solutions using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor, debug, and optimize AI workloads for performance and cost
Required Technical Skills
- Azure App Service, Azure Functions
- Azure Storage, Azure API Management
Generative AI on Azure
- Azure AI Foundry
- Azure OpenAI (Prompting, embeddings, function calling, assistants)
- Azure AI Services (Language, Vision, Document Intelligence – as applicable)
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend and AI integration
- Experience with FastAPI / Flask
Good-to-Have
- Agent orchestration frameworks
- Exposure to multi-agent or workflow-based GenAI architectures
- Docker & AKS basics for AI workloads
- Knowledge of AI governance, content safety, and PII handling
