Cloud Engineer

Location : Mumbai , Pune , Chennai , Noida , Ahmedabad – mandate 3 day hybrid working from office

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Lead Data Engineer to lead data engineering initiatives, manage client relationships, and drive successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities to design scalable data solutions, mentor team members, and engage directly with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and SQL.
• Architect and optimize ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions.
• Drive technical discussions with clients and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes, deployment pipelines, and coding best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver business value.
• Ensure data quality, performance, governance, and security across solutions.
• Understand the business requirements quickly and develop Power BI reports.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, ADF, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, source control, and deployment automation.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading teams and driving project outcomes.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on knowledge on Power BI and pyspark coding.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Experience with Power BI and Azure Data Platform services.

Experience

• 10+ years of Data Engineering experience with proven leadership and client engagement responsibilities.
