Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate
Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on
AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
AWS AppConfig,
API Gateway,
Keycloak,
AWS IoT Core, monitoring tools, and exposure to
FinOps/SecOps practices. This role involves working closely with development and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Cloud Services Management
- Configure and manage AWS AppConfig for application configuration and feature flagging.
- Implement and maintain API Gateway for secure and scalable API management.
- Integrate and manage Keycloak for identity and access management.
- Work with AWS IoT Core for device connectivity and data ingestion.
- Monitoring & Optimization
- Set up dashboards and alerts using AWS native monitoring tools (CloudWatch) and third-party solutions.
- Support FinOps initiatives for cost optimization and reporting.
- Assist in SecOps practices for compliance, vulnerability scanning, and security posture improvement.
- Automation & Infrastructure
- Write scripts and automation workflows for cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD integration and infrastructure as code.
- Troubleshooting & Support
- Monitor system health and resolve incidents promptly.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS services: AppConfig, API Gateway, IoT Core.
- Familiarity with Keycloak for identity management.
- Basic understanding of FinOps (cost optimization) and SecOps (security best practices).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Kibana.
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 24 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or AWS-based solutions.
- Understanding of cloud security and cost optimization principles.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with IoT architectures and device management.
