Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure while working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure following best practices.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Automate cloud provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks using Python, Node.js, Go, or similar scripting languages.
- Design and manage AWS IAM policies, roles, and access controls to ensure security and compliance.
- Configure and manage networking components such as VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, and NACLs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and issue tracking using Jira.
- Maintain code repositories and version control using Git.
Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)
- 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Solid expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Node.js, Go, or similar.
- Deep understanding of AWS IAM policies, roles, and security best practices.
- Strong fundamentals in networking (VPC, routing, load balancers, security).
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Jira for tracking and sprint management.
- Experience using Git for version control.
