About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS Cloud Services to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. Your expertise will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments that support our clients digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal cloud architecture, automate deployment processes, and implement best practices for security and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
The minimum qualification required for this position is 15 years of full-time education. Candidates should have a proven track record of 8 to 12 years of relevant IT experience, specifically in cloud computing and AWS services. Candidates with less than 8 years of experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of AWS infrastructure, network services, and security protocols. Relevant certifications in AWS or related cloud technologies will be an added advantage. Additionally, candidates should have hands-on experience with scripting languages, automation tools, and enterprise-level system administration, both in Windows and Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, and AWS Security tools.
- Implement and maintain AWS network architecture, including control towers, organizations, and service control policies to ensure security and compliance.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CLI.
- Monitor cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, PagerDuty, and SIEM integrations to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and security configurations using AWS Backup, KMS, and AWS Certificate Manager.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Packer, and Puppet.
- Maintain enterprise-level systems on Windows (2019/2022/2025) and Red Hat Linux (7/8/9/10), ensuring stability, security, and performance within cloud platforms.
- Participate in change management, release management, and service management processes to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS offerings, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovative solutions.
