Role: Multi-Cloud Engineer / Administrator (GCP, AWS, Azure)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Cloud Engineer / Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and administration of infrastructure, services, projects, and related resources across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, along with administration of Google Workspace.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and optimal performance of our multi-cloud and collaboration environments.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Cloud Platform Administration
- Manage and administer cloud projects and accounts, including GCP projects, AWS accounts, and Azure subscriptions
- Oversee deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of compute, storage, database, networking, and container services
- Implement and enforce security best practices across all cloud platforms, including IAM, network security, and data encryption
- Monitor cloud resource usage, identify cost optimization opportunities, and implement efficiency improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Manage services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Implement and manage security using Google Cloud IAM, VPCs, and firewall rules
- Establish and maintain secure cloud landing zones
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Manage services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Implement and manage security using AWS IAM, Security Groups, and Network ACLs
Microsoft Azure
- Manage services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Implement and manage security using Azure Active Directory, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Policy
Google Workspace Administration
- Manage Google Workspace users, groups, and access permissions
- Configure and maintain log exports to BigQuery for security and operational analysis
- Integrate Google Workspace with Google Cloud Security Command Center to enhance security posture
Cloud Adoption & Strategy
- Align multi-cloud deployments with Cloud Adoption Frameworks (CAF) and business objectives
- Manage cloud landing zone setups, including GCP Secure Landing Zones, AWS Control Tower, and Azure Landing Zones
Product & Sandbox Management
- Administer and support applications integrated with GCP, AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace
- Manage sandbox environments for development, testing, and experimentation
- Ensure appropriate access controls and resource allocation
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Terraform
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for consistent multi-cloud provisioning
- Manage Terraform state using local and remote backends, ensuring state security and locking
Network Segmentation & Security
- Implement network segmentation using VPCs, VNets, subnets, firewall rules, Security Groups, and NSGs
- Establish cross-cloud IAM strategies with least-privilege access and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Monitoring, Logging & Security Integration
- Configure monitoring and alerting using Cloud Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor
- Implement comprehensive logging using Cloud Logging, AWS CloudTrail and Config, and Azure Monitor / Sentinel
- Integrate native cloud security services such as Google Security Command Center, AWS Security Hub, and Azure Defender for Cloud
Documentation & Collaboration
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams
- Provide technical guidance and best practices across cloud and Google Workspace environments
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience as a Multi-Cloud Engineer / Administrator with strong expertise in GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace
- Strong experience managing cloud billing, cost optimization, and financial governance across multiple cloud providers
- In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, networking (VPC, VNet, VPN, load balancing), and security
- Strong IAM expertise across GCP, AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, AKS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple cloud certifications (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- Google Workspace Administrator certification
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
- Database administration experience across clouds (Cloud SQL, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database)
- Exposure to big data platforms such as BigQuery, AWS EMR or Redshift, and Azure Synapse
