Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to design, develop, and scale backend microservices for a FinOps platform. The successful candidate will build and optimize API integrations across multiple cloud platforms, normalize cloud cost/usage data, and implement automation and backend services with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaboration with the engineering team is essential to deliver high-quality cloud service integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and scale backend microservices for a FinOps platform.
- Build and optimize API integrations across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Normalize cloud cost/usage data and prepare it for consumption by the front-end layer.
- Implement automation and backend services with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality cloud service integrations.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in cloud development engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in Python (or another strong backend programming language with solid fundamentals).
- Proven experience in building and scaling microservices and API-driven architectures.
- Background in services development, automation, and DevOps workflows.
- Practical exposure to at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Required Skills:
- Develop high-quality microservices that interact with multiple cloud APIs.
- Ensure seamless data ingestion, normalization, and transformation for FinOps dashboards.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Work autonomously, proactively, and with ownership.
- Be quality-focused with long-term thinking, as this role can extend beyond 1 year.
