Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development : Design, develop and deploy cloud-based systems including infrastructure, applications using REST APIs.
2. Cloud Architecture: Architect and implement scalable, secure and efficient cloud architecture using AWS, Azure or GCP.
3. Python Development: Develop and maintain Python applications including data processing, machine learning and web development.
4. Cloud Security: Ensure cloud security and compliance by implementing security controls, monitoring and incident response.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations and security to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based systems.
6. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot cloud-related issues, identify root causes and implement fixes to ensure high availability and performance.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud architecture, design and implementation.
8. Staying Current: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and cloud provider updates to continuously improve cloud-based systems.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
2. Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and programming languages.
3. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
4. Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (version 3.x), Java, C++ and SQL databases.
5. Cloud Cost Optimization: Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
6. Devops: Familiarity with Devops practices and tools such as Jenkins, Cloudbees CI/CD.
7. Agile: Must have followed Agile development methodologies in their previous developments.

Preferred Candidates:

1. Networking: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and encryption.
2. Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
3. Kubernetes: Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
4. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
