Cloud Deployment Specialist - Routing & Switching

Maimsd Technology is seeking a skilled Cloud Deployment Specialist with expertise in Routing & Switching to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Linux administration, coupled with a solid background in networking. This role focuses on building, managing, and optimizing containerized platforms and ensuring robust network infrastructure within cloud environments.

Mandatory Skills:

• Red Hat OpenShift 4.x: Strong experience in building new OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.x in data centers, including upgrades, patching, and onboarding new applications.
• Red Hat Linux Administration: Proficient in Linux administration.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Application Deployment: Experience with application deployment using Helm.
• Infrastructure Automation & Scripting: Proficient with Ansible, Python, and/or Bash scripting for automation.
• Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus monitoring for OCP platforms.
• Resource Management: Ability to add/remove resources on an as-needed basis within the OCP platform.
• Load Balancing: Hands-on experience with load balancer technologies such as Nginx, HAProxy, or F5.
• Networking Administration: At least CCNA-level experience in Networking Administration.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Storage virtualization and Network virtualization in private cloud and public cloud platforms like AWS/GCP.
• Hands-on experience in handling OpenShift clusters and enterprise MongoDB.
• Experience with L2 and L3 network equipment configuration (switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience with iptables in Linux and network-level ACLs (Access Control Lists).
• Understanding of storage technologies and network file systems.
• Ability to continuously monitor network ports and perform log analysis to pre-emptively address emerging issues.
• In-depth knowledge of DNS concepts, including DNSSEC, DNS caching, and DNS load balancing.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
