About the Role

axcess.io is seeking a skilled and hands-on AWS Cloud Consultant to join our cloud transformation team. You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and operating scalable cloud-native platforms while contributing to production-grade engineering solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD automation. You'll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to build secure, reliable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure that powers our next-generation platforms—including AI agents and cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Design & Build

• Design, build, and manage Kubernetes-based platforms on AWS, including EKS clusters (production-grade)
• Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure following best practices
• Deploy and operate AI agents and cloud-native applications in secure, production environments

Automation & DevOps

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments
• Build internal engineering tools, controllers, operators, and automation services to improve platform efficiency
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK

Observability & Reliability

• Implement observability systems (monitoring, logging, alerting) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch
• Establish cloud security standards, compliance controls, and cost optimization practices
• Ensure operational reliability through proactive monitoring and incident response

Troubleshooting & Support

• Troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, networking issues, Linux systems, and distributed application workflows
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents with minimal downtime
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate across multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
• Continuously improve automation, developer experience, and platform capabilities
• Take ownership of platform engineering tasks and contribute proactively in a fast-paced environment
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 3–6 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments
