Public Cloud Manager – GCP (Primary) | AWS (Secondary)

We are looking for a self-driven Public Cloud Manager to lead cloud operations with strong expertise in GCP (primary) and working knowledge of AWS, along with hands-on experience in automation, Terraform, and Linux scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize GCP (80%) and AWS (20%) cloud environments (compute, storage, networking)
- Lead end-to-end cloud operations including provisioning, monitoring, incident management, and cost optimization
- Own ticket lifecycle (ServiceNow/ITSM) with RCA and proactive issue prevention
- Drive infrastructure as code (Terraform) for scalable and repeatable deployments
- Automate tasks using Linux scripting (Bash/Python), Ansible, Salt, and gcloud CLI
- Manage and mentor a cloud operations team, ensuring delivery and accountability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects with strong ownership and communication
Must Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub)
- Experience with Terraform (modules, remote state, plan/apply lifecycle)
- Strong Linux administration & scripting (Bash, Python, cron, debugging)
- Experience in automation & configuration tools (Ansible/Salt)
- Exposure to ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and production support environments
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, containers, and serverless
Good to Have:
- GCP / AWS certifications
- Experience in multi-cloud / hybrid environments
