Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Backend Developer with strong backend capabilities and a deep understanding of cloud computing to support new product integrations and improve cloud-side application logic. This is a core development role focused on building APIs, backend services, cloud integrations, and data handling for smart IoT products. You will work closely with our CTOand other engineering teams to shape the digital brain of our automation ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain backend services and microservices for cloud-based IoT applications

* Develop RESTful APIs for device-to-cloud and cloud-to-app communication

* Integrate third-party devices into our platform

* Handle user authentication, cloud session management, and media control flow

* Work on data handling, event triggers, and notification services

* Collaborate with mobile and firmware teams to ensure seamless product integration

* Write clean, secure, and scalable code with proper documentation

Must-Have Skills

* Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python for backend development

* Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts (serverless, pub/sub, etc.)

* Experience with cloud services like AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB), GCP, or Azure

* Strong experience in API design, JWT/Auth flows, and asynchronous event handling

* Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, WebSocket)

* Solid knowledge of MongoDB, SQL, or other modern databases

* Understanding of media streaming logic (RTSP/WebRTC is a plus)

Nice-to-Have

* Experience with IoT platforms or home automation ecosystems

* Exposure to video stream handling through cloud

* Knowledge of OAuth2, SSO, and third-party authentication systems

* Exposure to AI/ML model integration into cloud or server systems

* Experience with LangChain, vector DBs, or AI agents
