Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Principal Cloud Architect to own the end-to-end technical strategy for our cloud infrastructure and application ecosystems. This is a unique hybrid role requiring deep expertise in designing resilient, automated, and secure AWS environments alongside modern, event-driven, cloud-native application software.

Key Responsibilities

• Unified Architecture Design: Author comprehensive technical designs spanning core cloud infrastructure (landing zones, networking) and application layers (microservices, APIs).
• IaC Standardization: Define and enforce enterprise-grade Terraform/CDK patterns for automated, immutable infrastructure deployments.
• Application Modernization: Architect high-throughput, fault-tolerant backends using AWS serverless and container primitives.
• Security & Governance: Implement zero-trust security architectures, AWS Organizations/SCPs, and establish coding/DevOps guardrails.
• Optimization: Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews to maximize performance and minimize cloud spend.
• Coding Requirement: Must be able to write clear, production-grade code in at least one major language (Python, Node.js, Go, or Java).
