About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Cloud Data Architect with extensive experience in data migration and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data migration architectures, ensuring seamless transition of enterprise data to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Google Cloud.
- Design data migration architecture diagrams and create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Define best practices for data migration, data security, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during migration and implementation phases.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud data migration.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and automation.
- Expertise in designing data migration architecture diagrams.
- Experience in writing HLD and LLD documentation.
