Role Overview

Seeking an AVS Tech Architect to lead complex cloud and infrastructure transformations, primarily focusing on migrating on-premise VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and plan end-to-end AVS deployments and migrations.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams for cloud strategy and design.

• Review, design, and implement solutions across AVS, VMware, and Azure technologies.

• Create solution documentation, best practices, and knowledge assets.

Technical Expertise Required

• Azure VMware Solution (AVS), VMware vSphere 6.0+, VMware vSAN.

• VMware NSX-T (network virtualization, firewall, gateway, DNS/DHCP, NSX migrations).

• VMware HCX (Advanced/Enterprise) for on-premise to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations.

• Azure networking services: ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, Route Server.

• Experience with Azure monitoring/security tools and 3rd-party virtual appliances (firewalls, load balancers, routers).

Preferred Skills

• VMware SRM, vSphere Replication

• VMware management suite (vROps, vRNI, vRLI, vCD)

• Azure Disk Pools, Azure NetApp Files
