About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge in cloud architecture, DevOps, containerization, and enterprise-level cloud strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures based on business needs.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Develop architecture diagrams, solution proposals, and technical documentation.
- Define and implement cloud governance, security best practices, cost optimization, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
- Drive automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or equivalent IaC tools.
- Implement container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Mentor junior architects and cloud engineers.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture.
Required Skills
- Hands-on expertise in AWS / Azure / GCP (any one mandatory, multi-cloud preferred).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cloud networking (VPC, CDN, VPN, Load Balancers)
- IAM, security best practices, encryption, compliance
- Containers Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Experience in cloud migration (on-prem to cloud).
- Good understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Cloud certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with FinTech, BFSI, or enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of data platforms, Snowflake, BigQuery, or AI/ML cloud services.
