Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior AWS Architect who will design, build, and support cloud architecture for a large scale integration platform. You will work with modern AWS services, ensure security alignment, and contribute to multi region reliability and high availability solutions.
Project Overview
This project focuses on building and optimizing a cloud based integration environment that supports scalable APIs, secure data flows, and enterprise level workloads. The platform enables seamless connectivity between internal systems and external services while maintaining strong compliance and performance standards.
Team
- You will collaborate with cloud engineers, architects, DevOps specialists, and backend developers.
- The team works in an iterative delivery model with shared responsibility for architecture decisions, incident management, and continuous improvement.
Technology Stack
- AWS ALB, API Gateway, Apigee, Lambda, Aurora, RDS Proxy, CloudFront, WAF, KMS, Secrets Manager, Terraform, PostgreSQL, IAM, VPC
Responsibilities
- Plan and design cloud architecture using AWS services
- Develop secure integration patterns for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure decisions
- Implement Terraform modules and support CI CD integration
- Contribute to security architecture and compliance alignment
- Coordinate incident management activities
- Design multi region disaster recovery solutions
- Document architecture and provide knowledge sharing to the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years working with AWS
- Strong depth of knowledge in Lambda, RDS or Aurora or PostgreSQL, ALB, API Gateway, CloudFront, IAM, VPC
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
- Experience designing Terraform modules, remote state usage, and CI CD integration
- Experience working with security architecture
- Experience with enterprise SSO integration
- Experience participating in incident management
- Experience designing multi region disaster recovery
Nice to have
- Experience working with Workday API integration patterns
- Experience with Aurora PostgreSQL performance tuning
