Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to work on a contractor basis. This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services using Node.js and AWS, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align backend solutions with product goals and technical requirements, driving innovation in the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services using Node.js and AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability across distributed systems.

• Architect and implement microservices, integrating artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align backend solutions with product goals and technical requirements, driving innovation and growth.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and code standards, and troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.

• Integrate artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience, leveraging expertise in Node.js and AWS to drive technical innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Node.js, with experience in designing and developing scalable and reliable backend services using AWS, and a strong understanding of microservices architecture.

• Strong expertise in software development, with a focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven decision making, and experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues, and a strong understanding of best practices and code standards.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to drive innovation and growth, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, with experience integrating AI capabilities into backend services, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
