Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect with deep expertise in Landing Zone design, Google Cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will lead endtoend cloud architecture, migration, security, automation, and optimization initiatives across enterprise environments.

Core Responsibilities

1. Landing Zone Design & Implementation

• Design and build scalable, secure, and compliant Google Cloud Landing Zones.
• Architect foundational components such as VPCs, IAM structure, security controls, and governance frameworks.

2. Cloud Migration Strategy

• Develop cloud migration roadmaps, assessment reports, architecture blueprints, and execution plans.
• Lead end-to-end workload migration to Google Cloud.

3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Implement and manage IaC using tools like Terraform.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration of cloud infrastructure.

4. Security & Compliance

• Implement enterprise-grade security measures aligned with industry standards.
• Establish controls for IAM, data encryption, logging, threat protection, and compliance mandates.

5. Networking

• Design and implement GCP networking architectures including VPCs, subnets, peering, firewall rules, and hybrid connectivity (VPN/Interconnect).

6. Monitoring & Logging

• Deploy monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure visibility into performance, reliability, and security events.

7. Automation

• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and operations to improve efficiency and reliability.

8. Collaboration

• Work closely with development, security, DevOps, and operations teams to align cloud architecture with business goals.

9. Mentorship

• Guide junior engineers and architects on Google Cloud best practices and architectural principles.

10. Continuous Learning

• Stay current with new GCP services, architectural patterns, and industry trends to continually optimize cloud environments.

Key Skills & Experience

Google Cloud Expertise

• Proven experience as a GCP Architect / Solution Architect focusing on Landing Zone design, security, networking, and cloud transformations.

Infrastructure as Code

• Strong proficiency with Terraform and related IaC tools.

Networking

• Deep understanding of GCP networking: VPC, subnets, firewall rules, routing, hybrid connectivity.

Security

• Expertise in IAM, encryption, key management, and cloud security best practices.

Cloud Migration

• Hands-on experience migrating enterprise workloads to GCP.
