About the Role

We at ICICI Bank are passionate about leveraging technology in every possible way to touch the hearts of millions of our valued customers. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and building the architectural designs for specific services and defining cloud reference architecture and standards. Following the Banks philosophy of Fair to Customer, Fair to Bank you will be responsible for developing and owning the technical roadmap, along with the cloud strategy manager for relevant cloud services to ensure consistent architecture. You will be a member of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (COE), a centralized enterprise architecture function that leads and governs cloud computing adoption within an organization. The Cloud COE governs all types of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and provides significant input to the cross-functional operating processes related to the use of these cloud services. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be leading our transformative journey from Bank to Bank Tech.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Cloud Architecture: Design technical architecture that effectively integrates solutions into existing infrastructure and aligns architecture with cloud strategy.
• Eliminate downtime: Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software architectures and update the architecture guidelines accordingly.
• Agile: Ensure the architecture is scalable and flexible to meet future needs.
• Collaboration: Engage with the operations team to ensure operational observations are captured and included in the design and build of the architecture framework.
• Support: Review prototypes, solution blueprints, and project scope to ensure that the needs of the ICICI Bank businesses are being met.
• Service Orientation: Collaborate with the service development teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure development adheres to the cloud architecture designs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech/M. Tech/M.E/M.S with 12+ years of experience primarily in cloud and a minimum of 4+ years of work experience in architecting cloud solutions. Prior experience in Banking would be an added advantage.
• Security & Compliance : Knowledge on design security, compliance and other governance framework.
• Cloud Platform: Technical expertise in development of network / storage / compute for at-least one CSP (AWS/Azure or GCP).
• Be Up-to-date: Deep knowledge on orchestration, compute, storage, networking, database management, and information security.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience in a software-defined infrastructure (SDI, Cloud, SDE) environment.
• Synergize with Team: Act as subject matter expert for all cloud questions or concerns related to the specific architectural concerns.
