A major cloud transformation initiative to migrate its enterprise-scale retail management and ecommerce platform from Microsoft Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The project includes the migration and modernization of 15+ microservices, distributed data systems, event-driven services, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
This is a high-impact, multi-phase initiative that involves cloud re-architecture, infrastructure modernization, and rebuilding Azure-native components on GCP equivalents. The GCP Architect will be responsible for defining the migration strategy, designing cloud-native solutions, and guiding engineering teams throughout the execution.
