We are seeking an experienced and capable AWS Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS architecture, cloud-native services, modern data platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
You will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, DevOps, and delivery leadership to architect robust cloud solutions across data, analytics, application modernization, and platform engineering initiatives.
The role demands strong technical leadership, solutioning capability, hands-on architecture experience, and the ability to drive cloud best practices across large-scale enterprise programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures on AWS for enterprise-grade applications, data platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Define scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized architecture patterns using AWS native services.
- Lead cloud transformation and migration initiatives from on-premise or hybrid environments to AWS.
- Architect and guide implementation of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, streaming, and real-time analytics solutions.
- Define architecture standards, governance models, security controls, and operational best practices.
- Work closely with engineering teams to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance during development and deployment.
- Design and review solutions involving:
- AWS Glue
- Lambda
- Kinesis
- Step Functions
- S3
- DynamoDB
- Athena
- IAM
- SNS/SQS
- Redshift
- EMR
- API Gateway
- ECS/EKS
- Architect orchestration frameworks using Apache Airflow and workflow automation tools.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code adoption using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices for cloud deployments.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and solution estimations.
- Mentor engineering teams on AWS services, architecture principles, and cloud-native development practices.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution blueprints.
