Role Description This is a full-time remote Cloud Architect role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure cloud solutions for clients across various industries. The Cloud Architect will develop end-to-end cloud architectures, including infrastructure, networking, storage, security controls, and integration patterns aligned with Clear InfoSec's cybersecurity standards. Daily activities include assessing client requirements, creating reference architectures, guiding secure migration of applications and data to the cloud, and collaborating with security, development, and operations teams to ensure resilient and compliant environments. The person in this role will review existing architectures, recommend improvements, document designs and patterns, and support project teams during implementation and troubleshooting. The Cloud Architect will also stay current with cloud platforms and best practices, contribute to internal standards and playbooks, and participate in client workshops and technical presentations.
Qualifications

• Strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing end-to-end cloud solutions and aligning architectures with security and business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure design and operations, such as networking, storage, compute, identity and access management, and high-availability configurations.
• Background in Software Development and Integration, including understanding APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment practices.
• Proficiency in overall Architecture practices, including reference architectures, design patterns, documentation, and governance in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security, networking, and management services.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cloud security frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) is highly beneficial.
• Ability to translate business and security requirements into technical designs and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, GCP Cloud Architect, CISSP, CCSP) are a
