Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with extensive experience in Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead our cloud strategy and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and managing cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Azure and GCP that meet business requirements.
- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain cloud governance policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to create cloud-native applications and services.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services and architecture.
- Expertise in cloud security best practices and compliance.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices.
- Experience with cloud cost management and optimization tools.
- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and GCP (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-13 years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven track record of successful cloud implementation projects.
