Cloud Application Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Management:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Storage, Databases, Networking, Containers, Identity, Backup, and Migration.
• Work with Azure load balancing options (Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure Media Services, Azure Cache, Service Bus).
• Ensure cost management and budgeting for cloud services.
• Manage Windows-based environments, including Azure Active Directory and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Optimize performance using CDN and caching mechanisms.
• Maintain a high degree of technical readiness to support the latest technologies.

Automation & DevOps:

• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform (1-2 years of hands-on experience required).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud automation.
• Build configuration management and automation tools to streamline deployment, upgrades, and scaling.
• Work with DevOps practices to enhance cloud efficiency and scalability.

Cloud Migration & Disaster Recovery:

• Plan and execute on-premises to Azure cloud migrations.
• Implement Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BC & DR) solutions.
• Analyze risks and gaps in existing infrastructure and implement solutions.

Technical Support & Client Interaction:

• Respond to support tickets using a ticket management system.
• Act as a technical advisor and influence stakeholders to achieve optimal cloud solutions.
• Interface with clients to understand and resolve technical challenges.
• Provide documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• AZ-104 Certification (Azure Administrator Associate) is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: Compute, Storage, Databases, Networking, Containers, Identity, Backup, Migration, and Budgeting.
• 1-2 years of Terraform experience for infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in Windows administration in a production environment.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory, MFA, and Service Bus.
• Knowledge of cloud performance optimization, CDN, and caching strategies.
• Exposure to AWS & GCP is a plus.

Process & Communication Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in risk analysis and infrastructure gap assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (client-facing role).
• Familiarity with ticketing tools for infrastructure support.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.

Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage):

• Azure Solutions Architect Certification
• Other relevant Azure certifications
