Responsibilities:

  • Psychological Assessments:Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose psychiatric conditions
  • Evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of mental health
  • Therapeutic Interventions:Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals with psychiatric disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient
  • Counseling and Psychotherapy:Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for patients with psychiatric concerns
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities to address mental health challenges
  • Collaboration with Psychiatrists:Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in the development and implementation of integrated care plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Patient Education:Educate patients and their families on psychiatric conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies
  • Provide psychoeducation to enhance understanding and promote mental health wellness
  • Crisis Intervention:Participate in crisis intervention and risk assessment for patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises
  • Collaborate with emergency services when necessary
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in record-keeping
  • Continuing Education:Stay informed about advances in clinical psychology and psychiatry
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training
