Job Description

Qualification:

  • MA/M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or Research Psychology with 6+ years of relevant experience

OR

  • M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology with 2–3 years of applied clinical experience

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Psychologist to support the development of evidence-based psychological and neurodevelopmental screening systems for children. The role focuses on identifying behavioural, emotional, developmental, and learning-related risk indicators associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Learning Disabilities, emotional regulation challenges, and related developmental concerns.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop child-focused screening frameworks and behavioural indicators for:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
  • Emotional and behavioural concerns
  • Social communication difficulties
  • Executive functioning and sensory processing challenges
  • Design and validate:
  • Child assessment activities
  • Gamified behavioural tasks
  • Parent questionnaires
  • Teacher observation frameworks
  • Identify measurable behavioural markers related to attention, impulsivity, social interaction, emotional regulation, learning, and adaptive functioning.
  • Review DSM-5/ICD-aligned constructs and contribute to research, validation studies, and pilot testing.
  • Ensure screening outputs remain ethical, non-diagnostic, and focused on developmental support and referral recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and technology teams to translate clinical concepts into scalable digital assessment solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Child Psychopathology, and Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
  • Experience working with children with developmental, behavioural, emotional, or learning concerns.
  • Knowledge of psychological screening and behavioural assessment tools such as CARS, Conners, BASC, Vanderbilt, and CBCL.
  • Strong behavioural observation, assessment, report writing, and interpretation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in school psychology, paediatric settings, or child development canters.
  • Exposure to digital assessments, gamified screening tools, or AI-enabled behavioural analysis.
  • Understanding of sensory integration and executive functioning frameworks.
