Job Description
- Responsible for providing nutritional care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized meal plans and educates patients about nutrition.
- Monitor and assess the dietary needs of patients and adjust plans as necessary.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure proper nutrition and dietary goals are met.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Stay current on latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics.
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field.
- Completion of a dietetic internship program.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
- State licensure as a dietitian, where applicable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare team.
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems is a plus.
