Job Description

Role: Senior Clinical Data Consultant/(Clinical Data Manager)

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Employment Type: Full-Time with Quanta Systems Technologies LLP (Quantum Integrators)

Shift Time: UK Shift (02.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST)

Notice Period: Immediate joiners only

Position Summary:

The Senior Clinical Data Consultant is a strategic individual contributor within ICC Clinical IT who will help shape and advance clinical data product strategy in support of evolving business and study needs. This role is responsible for driving the transformation of clinical data into scalable, fit-for-purpose data products, leveraging modern data platforms and strong cross-functional collaboration to meet the requirements of an innovative pharmaceutical environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in clinical data, clinical IT, data engineering, or data product consulting within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working on clinical data transformation initiatives for an innovative pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven experience shaping data product strategy to meet specific business and company requirements.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data domains, data flows, and the broader clinical development landscape.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across global and cross-functional teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with modern data lakehouse platforms, including Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle technologies.
  • Experience designing and managing ETL/data integration pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of StreamSets or comparable ETL and data movement tools.
  • Experience enabling scalable, high-quality clinical data pipelines and downstream data product consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and drive clinical data product strategy aligned to business priorities, study requirements, and enterprise data objectives.
  • Lead or support the design of scalable clinical data transformation approaches for an innovative pharmaceutical company, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, compliant, and sustainable.
  • Translate complex business requirements into data product roadmaps, platform capabilities, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with business, data, and technology stakeholders to define the target-state architecture and operating model for clinical data products.
  • Leverage modern data lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks to enable efficient ingestion, transformation, storage, and access to clinical data.
  • Oversee or contribute to data integration, ETL, and pipeline design using tools such as StreamSets and related technologies.
  • Apply strong SQL and Oracle expertise to support data modeling, transformation logic, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure clinical data solutions support quality, traceability, governance, and regulatory expectations across the clinical data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across Clinical IT, product teams, data engineering teams, and business leaders to prioritize capabilities and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for process improvement, platform modernization, and data product innovation within the clinical domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating in product-centric delivery models within Clinical IT or enterprise data organizations.
  • Exposure to clinical data standards, governance practices, and regulated environments.
  • Ability to influence strategy, drive alignment, and lead through ambiguity in a complex matrix organization.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution.
