Required Experience

• Overall experience 7-8 years Data Analytics + Any EDC tool exposure
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Test Analyst supporting clinical or regulated systems.
• Hands-on experience with EDC platforms (e.g., iMedidata Rave), including testing and data validation.
• Experience writing requirements, business rules, and test scripts.
• Experience validating data mappings and transformations.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.
• Experience validating Tableau dashboards or other reporting tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Veeva Vault CTMS, or similar systems.

Job description:

We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst (Study Enablement) to support clinical study setup, data validation, and system testing within Global Clinical Operations Technology & Enablement / Global Clinical IT. This role focuses on supporting Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platforms and downstream data and reporting solutions by translating business needs into clear requirements, validating data, and ensuring studies are ready for execution. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused contract role well-suited for experienced analysts who can work independently in a regulated clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clinical studies by partnering with Product Owners, Business Leads, IT, and Clinical stakeholders
• Gather and document business and system requirements for iMedidata/RAVE study setup, payment compensation, data migrations, and related processes.
• Analyze clinical trial data and define source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.
• Execute system, UAT, and regression testing, document defects and results.
• Validate data across EDC platforms, databases, ETL pipelines, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Participate in working sessions and UAT with subject matter experts.
• Provide post-implementation support and issue troubleshooting.
• Attend planning and daily stand-up meetings, report on progress
• Support Agile delivery activities and maintain status updates and documentation.
