Job Overview
The Clinical Apprentice will undergo a structured one-year training program designed to develop clinical, technical, and field competencies in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) & Counter-pulsation therapies. The apprentice will support clinical application activities, product demonstrations, installations, and customer engagement under the guidance of senior specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Learning (Initial Phase):
- Participate in structured classroom training on ECMO & IABP systems, accessories, and related technologies.
- Develop understanding of ECMO & IABP clinical protocols and therapy management.
- Observe live ECMO procedures and clinical workflows in hospitals.
- Work closely with senior specialists for hands-on learning.
Clinical Support (On-the-Job Training Phase):
- Assist in providing on-site clinical support during ECMO cases under supervision.
- Support product demonstrations.
- Participate in installation and commissioning of ECMO & IABP systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic technical and clinical issues.
Field Exposure & Customer Engagement:
- Accompany sales and clinical application teams for hospital visits.
- Support training sessions and workshops for hospital staff.
- Build professional relationships with healthcare stakeholders under supervision.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of clinical cases, product usage, and field activities.
- Ensure adherence to company quality, compliance, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Perfusion Technology
- Strong interest in critical care and advanced life-support technologies
- Fresh graduates
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of perfusion technology / critical care concepts (preferred)
- Strong learning agility and adaptability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work in hospital environments
- Ability to work in high-pressure clinical settings
