About the job:

Role: Clinical Application Specialist

Location: Chennai & Kerala

Department: Sales

Qualification: BiomedicalEngineering

Experience: 2-3 years in medical device industry

Note: We are looking for the candidate working in medical device industry or hospital

Purpose of the Role

To drive clinical adoption and sales support for the Dräger product portfolio by delivering clinical training, demonstrations, and expert consultation to healthcare professionals, while supporting the sales team, influencing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and strengthening Dräger's presence in new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical training for customers, distributors, and internal sales teams on Dräger products, applications, and competitive differentiation.
  • Support sales growth through key account development (government and private), prospecting new customers, and assisting with sales strategies, tenders, and pre-bid presentations.
  • Act as a trusted clinical consultant to doctors, nurses, and medical staff, providing in-OR/ICU support, product demos, and post-sales clinical training.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and core accounts to drive product adoption and influence purchase decisions.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights with sales and marketing teams.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities including CMEs, workshops, local clinical events, promotions, and training programs (including Train the Trainer).
  • Manage demo equipment inventory, audits, handovers, and coordination with service and modality managers.
  • Promote Dräger accessories, disposables, and state-of-the-art clinical practices on the installed base.
  • Regularly communicate product updates and provide ongoing clinical support across the assigned region.

Key Expectation

Serve as a modality and clinical application expert, independent yet closely aligned with sales, delivering critical clinical differentiation that supports informed customer decisions and drives business growth.
