Job Title: Client Servicing Manager / Account Manager – Social Media Marketing

Department: Social Media Marketing / Digital Communications

Role overview

We are looking for a Client Servicing / Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders for our social media marketing initiatives. The role will act as the primary point of contact between the university's schools/clients and the in‑house creative and digital teams, ensuring timely, high-quality social media campaigns and content delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for allocated internal stakeholders (institutes/schools, centres, events teams) and external partners for all social media and digital communication requirements.
  • Understand stakeholder objectives, gather detailed briefs, and translate them into clear tasks for design, content, and performance marketing teams.
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of social media campaigns – from planning and approvals to execution, posting calendars, and reporting.
  • Manage day‑to‑day communication, ensuring timely updates, follow‑ups, and smooth coordination across all touchpoints (email, WhatsApp, calls, meetings).
  • Monitor campaign performance on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others, and share regular reports with insights and improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice, and adherence to university branding and communication guidelines across all digital assets.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for campaigns (admissions, events, achievements, rankings, partnerships, student life stories) and pitch them to stakeholders.
  • Manage timelines, expectations, and basic budgets related to social media campaigns; escalate risks or delays in advance.
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with stakeholders to drive satisfaction and repeat engagement.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Management, Media Studies, or a related field.

Professional experience in a digital / social media agency or in‑house social media / marketing team preferred.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in client servicing / account management in social media, digital marketing, or advertising.

Experience handling multiple brands or internal stakeholders and delivering social media campaigns end‑to‑end.

Skills and competencies:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content formats (reels, shorts, stories, static creatives, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage expectations and handle feedback professionally.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects with tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Detail‑oriented, well‑organised, and comfortable working with cross‑functional creative, content, and performance teams.
